Vietnam: Time limit for sending periodical reports on the Government’s work program

Decree No. 138/2016/NĐ-CP on working regulation of Vietnam’s Government regulates information and reporting in the Government’s work program.

According to Decree No. 138/2016/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, periodical reports summarizing the work, management, administration and results of implementation of the work programs of the Government and Prime Minister shall be sent to the Government Office and related agencies at the following time periods:

+ Monthly reports shall be sent to the Government Office and related agencies no later than the 25th every month;

+ Quarterly reports shall be sent to the Government Office and related agencies no later than the 20th of the last month of the quarter;

+ Biannual reports shall be sent to the Government Office and related agencies no later than the 15th of June;

+ Annual reports shall be sent to the Government Office and related agencies no later than the 10th of December.

Moreover, this Regulation also establishes the working principles; responsibility regime; working relationships; and methods and processes of handling affairs of the Government and Prime Minister.

Decree No. 138/2016/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government takes effect from October 01, 2016, replacing Decree No. 08/2012/NĐ-CP.
