Vietnam: Survey on law enforcement in key and interdisciplinary areas in 2021

On January 13, 2021, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued the Decision No. 49/QĐ-TTg on the promulgation of the Plan to monitor law enforcement in key and inter-sectoral areas in 2021.

According to the Decision No. 49/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, the unexpected inspection, investigation and survey of law enforcement in key and inter-sectoral areas in 2021 will be carried out as follows:

- Contents of activities: Establish an interdisciplinary working group and organize inter-sectoral inspection, investigation and survey according to this Plan and irregularly inspect, investigate and survey the law enforcement situation on:

(i) Issuance of land use right certificates and land acquisition; forest allocation and forest use purpose change;

(ii) Protection of marine and island environment;

(iii) Fire prevention and fighting safety conditions.

- Scope of inspection, investigation and survey: Carry out inspection, investigation and survey at a number of ministries, branches and People's Committees of a number of central-affiliated provinces and cities.

- Output products: Announcement of test results, report on investigation and survey results.

- Inspection period: Quarter II, III, IV of 2021.
