Vietnam: 04 contents summarizing and reviewing the recognition of people with meritorious services to the revolution

According to the Decision No. 1251/QĐ-LĐTBXH, implementing the Conclusion No. 63-KL/TW on reforming salary, social insurance, and preferential allowances for people with meritorious services and orientation to 2020, the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam develops a plan to summarize and review the recognition of people with meritorious services to the revolution, in which the summary contents include:

- Evaluate the results achieved in recognizing people with meritorious services to the revolution, focusing on the following contents: the implementation of dossier procedures at agencies and units; implementation of guiding documents from the central to local levels, the impact of recognition of people with meritorious services to the revolution on the development and stabilization of the local political, socio-economic situation;

- Comprehensive assessment of regulations on conditions, grounds for certification and application procedures for recognition of people with meritorious services to the revolution, highlighting inadequacies and limitations in the process of recognizing people with meritorious services to the revolution;

- Propose and recommend amending directions to perfect the preferential policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution;

- Consider and propose rewards to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the recognition of people with meritorious services to the revolution.
