The United Nations supports Vietnam in developing an industrial sector strategy

The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam has just signed and issued Decision 400/QD-TTg on the approval of the list of projects funded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The governing unit of the project will be the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a total project implementation duration of 36 months.

The total budget for the project is 1,080,000 USD, of which:

- Non-refundable ODA aid: 980,000 USD.

- Counterpart funds: 100,000 USD, equivalent to 2,255,000,000 VND (in-kind contribution equivalent to 900 million VND and cash contribution of 1,355,000,000 VND).

Decision 400/QD-TTg is effective from March 14, 2016.
