Temporary Suspension of Receiving Workers Returning from China to Work in Vietnam

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has recently issued Official Telegram 01/CD-LDTBXH regarding strengthening measures to prevent and control the acute respiratory infection caused by the novel Coronavirus.

In light of the new complicated developments of the acute respiratory disease caused by the Corona virus, the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs proposes:

- Strictly implement the directives from the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry;- Stop organizing activities and events involving large crowds related to the sector's state management;- Do not organize conferences, seminars, or job fairs;- Require units, enterprises, and organizations employing foreign workers in localities to temporarily stop receiving workers returning to Vietnam from China after Tet and foreign workers moving through epidemic regions;- The Department of Labor Management advises enterprises to temporarily delay the departure of Vietnamese workers to countries with confirmed nCoV epidemic cases.- ...
