Subjects Who Have Not Been or Are Not Awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam"

Individuals Not Yet Considered or Ineligible for the Commemorative Medal "For the Service to the National Assembly of Vietnam"

This regulation includes individuals who are not yet considered or are ineligible for the Commemorative Medal "For the Service to the National Assembly of Vietnam":

- Individuals not yet considered for the Commemorative Medal include:

+ Individuals currently under review for disciplinary action by an authorized entity or under investigation, inspection, or audit for signs of legal violations or involved in complaints, denunciations, corruption, or negative incidents that are being clarified;

+ Individuals currently facing criminal prosecution or under disciplinary action.

- Individuals ineligible for the Commemorative Medal include:

+ Members of the National Assembly who have been dismissed; officials and public employees who are terminated; and workers specified in Clause 6, Article 4 of this Resolution who have been disciplined by dismissal;

+ Individuals who have been convicted by a legally effective judgment or decision of the court.

Eligible Individuals for the Commemorative Medal "For the Service to the National Assembly of Vietnam"

Eligible individuals for the Commemorative Medal "For the Service to the National Assembly of Vietnam" include:

(1) Leaders and former leaders of the Communist Party and the State; leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

(2) Leaders of ministries, departments, central socio-political organizations; leaders of centrally governed provinces and cities.

(3) President of the National Assembly, Vice Presidents of the National Assembly, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Ethnic Council, Chairpersons of Committees of the National Assembly and Heads of Boards under the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Former Presidents of the National Assembly, former Vice Presidents of the National Assembly, former members of the National Assembly Standing Committee, former Secretary General of the National Assembly, former Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly, former Chairman of the Ethnic Council, former Chairpersons of the Committees of the National Assembly, and former Heads of Boards under the National Assembly Standing Committee.

(4) Members of the National Assembly.

(5) Leaders of the Office of the National Assembly, leaders of organs under the National Assembly Standing Committee, and officials under the management of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

(6) Civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Office of the National Assembly, the Legislative Research Institute, the Office of the Delegation of the National Assembly and the People's Council of centrally governed provinces and cities.

(7) Vietnamese citizens not belonging to categories (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), or (6).

(8) Overseas Vietnamese and foreigners.

Resolution 43/2024/UBTVQH15 takes effect from February 5, 2024.
