This is the noteworthy content of Circular 61/2020/TT-BTC which stipulates the rates for collection and payment of fees for fire prevention and fighting inspection; fees for appraisal and approval of fire prevention and fighting design, and fees for issuing Citizen Identification Cards.
From June 22, 2020 to the end of December 31, 2020, Vietnamese citizens aged 14 and above who carry out the procedures for renewing or reissuing the Citizen Identification Card (CCCD), or converting a 9-digit or 12-digit Identity Card (CMND) to a CCCD card shall pay a fee amount equal to 50% of the fee prescribed in Article 4 of Circular 59/2019/TT-BTC. Specifically:
- Conversion from a 9-digit or 12-digit Identity Card (CMND) to a CCCD card: 15,000 VND/CCCD card;- Renewal of a CCCD card when it is damaged and unusable; changes in the information of surname, middle name, first name; identifying features; re-determination of gender, place of birth; incorrect information on the card; at the citizen's request: 25,000 VND/CCCD card;- Reissuance of a CCCD card when the card is lost, or upon re-acquisition of Vietnamese nationality as per the provisions of the Vietnamese Nationality Law: 35,000 VND/CCCD card.
From January 1, 2021 onwards, the fee for issuing CCCD cards will be in accordance with the fee schedule prescribed in Article 4 of Circular 59/2019/TT-BTC.
