On December 11, 2024, the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued Directive 40-CT/TW concerning the organization of Lunar New Year in 2025.
Our country will celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 in conjunction with the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Communist Party. The entire nation is focusing on accelerating and making breakthroughs to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Vietnam Communist Party and the resolutions of party congresses at all levels, while also preparing to organize congresses at various levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, moving towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Communist Party, leading the country into a new era.
To best prepare conditions for the people to enjoy the spring festival and welcome the new year safely, healthily, and economically, creating a new momentum and motivation, and successfully implementing the tasks for 2025 right from the beginning months of the year, the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam requests party committees, party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and political-social organizations at all levels to focus on leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of several key tasks.
These include strengthening the assurance of national defense and security, avoiding passivity and surprises in all situations, firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, maintaining a peaceful environment, ensuring political security, order, social safety, and safety in cyberspace.
