On April 01, 2024, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Circular 03/2024/TT-BNNPTNT abolishing certain provisions of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT related to plant quarantine.
Circular 03/2024/TT-BNNPTNT annuls certain provisions in Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT related to plant quarantine, including:
- Annulment of Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT dated October 30, 2014, by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which regulates the procedures for import, export, transit, and post-import quarantine of plant quarantine subjects (hereinafter referred to as Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT) amended and supplemented in Clause 1, Article 1 of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT.
- Annulment of Article 7b, Appendix Ib of Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT amended and supplemented by Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT.
- Annulment of Article 18a and Article 18b of Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT amended and supplemented by Clause 4, Article 1 of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT.
- Annulment of Article 2 of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT.
Note: For plant quarantine registration dossiers and state quality control of imported plant-based animal feed submitted before May 16, 2024, follow the provisions of Circular 34/2018/TT-BNNPTNT;
- For dossiers requesting exemption from state quality control of imported plant-based animal feed submitted before May 16, 2024, the Plant Protection Department continues to follow legal regulations on animal husbandry and aquaculture;
- For imported plant-based animal feed products that the Plant Protection Department has issued documents confirming exemption from state quality control, such products continue to be exempted according to the validity period stated in the confirmation document.
