Methods of Sending and Receiving Reports of State Administrative Agencies

January 24, 2019, the Government of Vietnam signed and promulgated Decree 09/2019/ND-CP on policies for reporting by state administrative agencies. Notably, the decree includes regulations on methods of sending and receiving reports.

To be specific, the report may be presented in paper or electronic form and must be sent to the competent authority via one of the following methods:

- Direct submission;- Mail through postal services;- Fax;- Email;- Specialized reporting software systems;- Other methods as prescribed by law.

According to Decree 09/2019/ND-CP, the content of the report must include specific elements such as: name and content of the report request; entities to implement and the authority to receive the report; submission and reception methods, and deadline for submission, etc.
