Guidance on Medical Examination and Treatment Registration for Demobilized Military Personnel

According to Circular 107/2016/TT-BQP on medical examination and treatment for professional military personnel with 15 years or more of service in the Ministry of National Defense who have been demobilized, the registration for medical examination and treatment is carried out as follows:

- Service-discharged soldiers (QNPV) returning to their localities shall register for medical examination and treatment with the District Military Command (BCHQS);- Based on the introduction letter from the BCHQS, service discharge decision, identity card, the military hospital of the respective level issues a medical examination and treatment booklet for the QNPV;- In the case of changing the military hospital for medical examination and treatment due to relocation of residence, the procedure for registering at the new military hospital is carried out based on the introduction letter from the BCHQS (new place of residence) and the medical examination booklet of the old hospital;- QNPV returning to their localities to work for an organization that is required to pay compulsory insurance and wishes to have medical examination and treatment at a military hospital according to the level shall register with the local health insurance agency.

The regulations on medical examination and treatment shall be applied according to Circular 107 from July 01, 2016.

Circular 107/2016/TT-BQP is effective from August 15, 2016.
