Recently, the Ministry of National Defense has issued Circular 84/2020/TT-BQP stipulating the form, content, and time of activities for reservists.

Reserve servicemen participate in activities in the following forms:

- Reserve servicemen assigned to the mobilized reserve unit are organized in centralized activities;- The District People's Committee directs the Military Command of the same level to organize activities for Khung B officers. In cases of large territories or a large number of Khung B officers, activities are organized by commune clusters;- The Commune People's Committee, District People's Committee where there are no commune-level administrative units: Directs the Military Command of the same level to organize activities for reserve servicemen assigned to the mobilized reserve unit.

Khung B officers are reserve servicemen appointed to command positions in mobilized reserve units, organized from squad and equivalent levels to regiment and equivalent levels.
