Collecting Fees for Firefighting Vehicle Inspection from April 20, 2016

Individuals and organizations, when submitting applications requesting the competent authority to inspect fire prevention and fighting equipment, must pay inspection fees.

The contents are specifically stipulated in Circular 42/2016/TT-BTC, which guides the rates, collection policies, management, and use of inspection fees for fire prevention and fighting equipment (FPFE).

The inspection fee rates for FPFE are specifically provided in the fee schedule attached to this circular.

The fee-collecting agency is allowed to retain 90% of the collected fees to cover the costs of inspecting FPFE, while the remaining 10% will be submitted to the state budget.

Other relevant contents regarding the collection, submission, management, use, documentation, and transparency of fee collection policies are to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law.

The Ministry of Finance is responsible for receiving and resolving the obstacles encountered during the implementation of Circular 42.
