The Vietnam Railways Department to conduct appraisal and approval of price plans for public service services in the field of railway infrastructure management in Vietnam

Specifically, Circular 25/2023/TT-BGTVT stipulates that the Vietnam Railways Department shall appraise and approve the price plan.

The time limit and order for appraisal and decision on price plans comply with the provisions of Decree 177/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Prices and Decree 149/2016/ND-CP dated November 11, 2016 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 177/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Prices.

Time limit for appraisal and decision on public service prices in the field of railway infrastructure management in Vietnam

The decision on public service prices in the field of management and maintenance of national railway infrastructure is made after the state budget expenditure estimate is assigned to the Ministry of Transport by the competent authority.

Public service providers are responsible for organizing the development of public service price plans in the field of management and maintenance of national railway infrastructure according to the order method submitted to the Vietnam Railways Department before January 31 of the planning year.
