Ministry of Health Directive on Procurement of Equipment with Energy Labeling

According to the directive of the Ministry of Health in Decision 4432/QD-BYT on the Program for Economical and Efficient Use of Energy, units under the Ministry are advised to note the following when replacing or purchasing new vehicles and equipment:

- Procurement of means and equipment under the List of Energy-Saving Means and Equipment to be equipped and procured in accordance with Decision 68/2011/QD-TTg dated December 12, 2011, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam;- Implement the procurement of means and equipment labeled with energy label types including Endorsement Label (Energy Star Label) or Comparative Label achieving 5-star energy efficiency level and report to the Ministry of Health on the implementation.

The Ministry of Health is responsible for directing, deploying, and supervising the implementation of the procurement of energy-saving means and equipment in various units, with forms of commendation and promptly handling violations.

For agencies and units with key energy-using facilities, energy audits must be conducted.
