On August 05, 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam issued Decision No. 1706/QD-BKHDT on the Plan for Enterprise investigations in 2025.

Enterprise investigations to be conducted in Vietnam in 2025

The enterprise investigations in 2025 will be conducted across 63 provinces and centrally-run cities for enterprises engaged in business activities in all sectors included in the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification (VSIC 2018), except for the following three sectors:

- Sector O - Activities of the Communist Party, political and socio-political organizations, state management, national defense and security, and compulsory social security;

- Sector U - Activities of international organizations and agencies;

- Sector T - Activities of households as employers; undifferentiated goods- and services-producing activities of households for own use.

Information for the survey will be collected for the year 2024. Indicators collected will include: business performance results, implemented investment capital, production output, and several other indicators.

The specific timeline for the Enterprise investigations in Vietnam in 2025 is as follows:

- Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025;

- Provinces and cities with 5,000 enterprises or more: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025;

- Remaining provinces and cities: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025;

- Corporations and general companies: Conducted from June 1, 2025, to July 15, 2025.

The 2025 Enterprise investigations will use indirect methods of information collection through online surveys using electronic survey forms (Webform).

Survey units will provide information via the Webform on the Enterprise investigations Information Portal of the General Statistics Office using the enterprise's authenticated name and code (password) to access the system and complete the survey form.
