- After the consultancy completes the development of the plans, the Ministry of Transportation will take the lead in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and relevant agencies to form an appraisal council for official opinions and promptly report to the Standing Committee of the Government of Vietnam before December 2017.- Concurrently, quickly direct the acceleration of investment progress for the Long Thanh Airport Project, which has been approved by the National Assembly; once Long Thanh Airport is operational, Tan Son Nhat Airport will continue to function normally.
