Official Dispatch 2284: Guidance on the Implementation of Policies for Allowances and Subsidies for Public Employees in Extremely Disadvantaged Areas

Recently, Vietnam Social Security issued Official Dispatch No. 2284/BHXH-TCCB providing guidance on the implementation of policies for allowances and benefits for public employees working in areas with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions.

This Official Dispatch provides guidance on the implementation of policies for public employees working in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, including the following policies: Attraction allowances; long-term service allowances; initial allowance; allowances for purchasing and transporting fresh and clean water; allowances for study tours, educational and professional training; travel expense reimbursement; and one-time allowances upon relocating from areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions or upon retirement.
