To be specific, at Clause 6, Article 2 of Circular 32/2012/TT-BTC stipulates:

Individuals subject to medical quarantine measures shall be provided meals as requested, suitable to the capabilities of the medical quarantine facility. Meal costs shall be borne by the individuals subjected to the medical quarantine measures. In cases where the quarantined individuals are from households classified as poor, they will receive meal support at the rate of 40,000 VND/day during the quarantine period.

According to the above regulation, individuals undergoing medical quarantine due to Covid-19 will have to bear their meal costs during the quarantine period, with the state only supporting meal costs at the rate of 40,000 VND/day for individuals from poor households.

However, given the current situation, the state has been covering all meal and accommodation expenses for individuals undergoing medical quarantine due to Covid-19, provided they do not choose their quarantine location.

It can be seen that our State has based its support thoroughly on the current circumstances to help citizens get through this challenging pandemic period. Therefore, each individual under quarantine should conscientiously comply with quarantine regulations to collectively overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.
