Here is the notable content stipulated in Decision 2221/QD-UBND of 2020 on the continued social distancing according to Directive 16/CT-TTg to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

Decision 2221/QD-UBND clearly states that Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, continues social isolation starting from 0:00 on August 14, 2020, until further notice following Directive 16/CT-TTg to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic, with specific contents as follows:

First, strictly implement social isolation as required by Directive 16/CT-TTg, ensuring social distancing, maintaining a safe distance between people, and communities. Residents are required to stay at home and minimize going out, except in essential cases such as:

- Purchasing food, groceries, medicines, and other essential goods and services;- Emergency cases such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, fires, etc.;- Working at state agencies, armed forces, diplomatic agencies

Note: When leaving the house, it is mandatory to wear a face mask, wash hands with soap or disinfectant, avoid gathering more than 02 people in public places outside of offices, schools, hospitals and maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters.

Second, factories, production facilities; traffic and construction works; essential service businesses, restaurants (such as food, groceries, medicines; gasoline, oil; electricity; water; fuel, etc.); banks, treasuries, businesses directly related to banking and enterprise support services (such as notary, lawyer, registration, secured transaction registration, etc.), stock markets, postal services, telecommunications, support services for the transportation of import-export goods, medical treatment, and funerals are allowed to continue operating. The heads of the above-mentioned establishments must take absolute safety responsibility and fully implement anti-epidemic measures.

Third, suspend educational and training activities; cultural, sports, festivals, contests, performances, anniversaries, exhibitions, religious rituals; tourist sites, historical-cultural relics, scenic spots, and welcoming new tourists; beaches.

Fourth, basically suspend public passenger transport activities (except for reasons of public service; vehicles carrying isolated persons; vehicles transporting workers, experts; vehicles carrying raw materials for production, goods to minimize personal vehicle use).

Fifth, heads of agencies, units, organizations, and businesses are responsible for organizing work from home suitable to their specific conditions, ensuring that work is not delayed, especially tasks with deadlines set by law, and public services for people and businesses.
