- Enhance surveillance of influenza-like illness (ILI), severe viral pneumonia (SVP), targeted COVID-19 surveillance, and event-based surveillance (EBS) to detect early and thoroughly handle outbreaks in the community.

- Continue to conduct a review (go from alley to alley, knock on every door, screen every individual), compile a list of all individuals who traveled to Da Nang from July 1, 2020, returning to the locality, and those who entered Vietnam illegally and are present in the area, organize isolation, conduct epidemiological investigations, collect samples for testing, and implement other preventive and control measures as per Ministry of Health's guidelines.

- Immediately proceed with handling and thoroughly disinfecting the environment at the patient's residence; places the patient has visited or stayed; transportation means and other related areas as per the Ministry of Health’s guidelines on monitoring and preventing COVID-19.
