According to Article 16 of Circular 120/2020/TT-BQP, the standards of Rank 3 main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Qualifications in piloting technique, navigation, and task performance capability:

+ Being a main military helicopter pilot, dual-role pilot, and military air navigator;

+ Having undergone tests and been approved according to the regulations at point b, clause 1, Article 7 of this Circular under simple meteorological conditions, complex meteorological conditions.

- Flight hour standards:

+ Total accumulated flight hours ≥ 400 hours;

+ Accumulated flight hours on the helicopter in operation for main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators of conversion type ≥ 50 hours.

Furthermore, under Article 17 of Circular 120/2020/TT-BQP, the standards of Rank 2 main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Qualifications in piloting technique, navigation, and task performance capability:

+ Being a Rank 3 main military helicopter pilot, dual-role pilot, and military air navigator;

+ Having undergone tests and been approved according to the regulations at point b, clause 1, Article 7 of this Circular under simple meteorological conditions, complex meteorological conditions, and simple meteorological nights.

- Flight hour standards:

+ Total accumulated flight hours ≥ 600 hours;

+ Accumulated flight hours on the helicopter in operation for main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators of conversion type ≥ 80 hours.

Moreover, under Article 18 of Circular 120/2020/TT-BQP, the standards of Rank 1 main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Qualifications in piloting technique, navigation, and task performance capability:

+ Being a Rank 2 main military helicopter pilot, dual-role pilot, and military air navigator;

- Having undergone tests and been approved according to the regulations at point b, clause 1, Article 7 of this Circular under simple meteorological conditions, complex meteorological conditions, simple meteorological nights, and complex meteorological nights.

- Flight hour standards:

+ Total accumulated flight hours ≥ 800 hours;

+ Accumulated flight hours on the helicopter in operation for main military helicopter pilots, dual-role pilots, and military air navigators of conversion type ≥ 120 hours.
