Vietnam: Maximum levels of undesirable substances in aquaculture feed derived from terrestrial animals

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam issued Circular No. 04/2020/TT-BNNPTNT promulgating the National technical regulation on animal feed and ingredients in aquaculture feed.

Maximum levels of undesirable substances in traditional feed and ingredients in aquaculture feed derived from terrestrial animals are promulgated together with Circular No. 04/2020/TT-BNNPTNT of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, specifically as follows:

		Ethoxyquin	150.0 mg/kg

(1) In naturally-occurring and single or processed form, with or without technical substances.

Ethoxyquin is only applicable to ingredients in aquaculture.

Peroxide value, insoluble impurities and ammonia nitrogen are not applicable to ingredients in aquaculture.

More details can be found in Circular No. 04/2020/TT-BNNPTNT of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, which takes effect from July 01, 2020.
