Below is important content specified in Circular 62/2012/TT-BGDDT on the regulation on the process and frequency of education quality assessment of universities, colleges, and vocational high schools, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

According to Article 13 of the Regulation on the process and frequency of education quality assessment of universities, colleges, and vocational high schools issued with Circular 62/2012/TT-BGDDT, the internal assessment report must be succinct, clear, accurate, and provide sufficient information about the activities of the educational institution, specify the pros and cons, the difficulties, and suggest the solutions for improving the quality, the plan, the time limit, and the time of the next internal assessment.

 The internal assessment results shall be presented in succession according to the education quality assessment standards. The results shall be presented in succession according to each criterion of a standard. The report on each criterion comprises 5 parts:

- The description and analysis of the activities of the educational institution relevant to the criterion, attached with information and evidence;

- The strengths and factors that need intensifying;

- The weaknesses;

- The action plan;

- The internal assessment of the extent of fulfillment of the criterion.

At the same time, the draft internal assessment report must be circulated in the educational institution for at least 2 weeks so that the managers, lecturers, teachers, employees, and students can read and comment. The opinions collected after announcing the draft internal assessment report shall be collected and processed, then the internal assessment report shall be completed.

In addition, after being completed, the internal assessment report shall be passed by the Principal of the educational institution in Vietnam and retained together with the relevant documents during its compilation and completion. The copies of the internal assessment report shall be kept in the library, lent and used in accordance with the regulations of the Principal.

The plan for improving the quality specified in the internal assessment report shall be implemented in order to improve and enhance the education quality. Annually, the internal assessment report shall be updated with the conditions of the educational institution (in the form of annual additional report) and retained in the library of the educational institution in Vietnam.
