Cases in which inspectors will be dismissed immediately (Illustration)
According to Decree No. 97/2011/ND-CP, the dismissal of inspectors is regulated as follows:
1. Dismissal of inspectors under any of the following cases:
- Due to transfer to another agency, organization, or unit that is not a state inspection agency;
- When changing job positions and in accordance with legal regulations, civil servants must move to another rank to fit the new job position;
- Voluntarily requesting to stop working at state inspection agencies and after being considered and approved by the competent authority;
- Receiving a decision to quit or be disciplined with a dismissal according to the law;
- Being stripped of the title of People's Public Security officer or People's Army officer rank;
- Being convicted by a court with a legally effective verdict;
- For other reasons as prescribed by law.
2. Appointment authority
The authority that has the power to appoint inspection ranks also has the power to dismiss those ranks.
3. The procedure and process for dismissing inspectors are as follows:
- The head of the directly managing agency or unit submits a written proposal;
- The agency, unit, department, or assigned personnel responsible for organizing and managing personnel, according to the level of management, drafts a dismissal decision and collects relevant documents, presenting them to the competent authority to issue a dismissal decision;
- Announcing the dismissal decision, withdrawing the inspection card, and other equipment used for inspection work.
