This content is prescribed by Circular 13/2010/TT-BVHTTDL regarding the procedures for the recognition of national treasures in Vietnam.
Article 7 of Circular 13/2010/TT-BVHTTDL regulates the submission of applications for the recognition of a national treasure to the Prime Minister of Vietnam as follows:
- Within 10 days from the date of receiving the assessment opinion of the National Council for Cultural Heritage, the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism shall submit the application to the Prime Minister of Vietnam for consideration and decision on the recognition of a national treasure.
- The application submitted to the Prime Minister of Vietnam includes:
- An application form for recognition of the national treasure from the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism;
- Artifact dossier;
- Assessment documents from the scientific council of the museum (or other relevant councils of the museum related to the artifact) and assessment documents from the artifact assessment council;
- Written request from the Minister, head of central authority, central political organization, central socio-political organization, or from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee;
- Assessment documents from the artifact assessment council;
- Assessment documents from the National Council for Cultural Heritage.
