Specialized Inspection Content in Religious Affairs

Circular 04 stipulates that the Government Committee for Religious Affairs of Vietnam and the Inspectorate of the Department of Home Affairs have the authority to inspect the implementation of legal regulations on the following contents:

- Registration of religious activities, registration of religious operations, and recognition of religious organizations.- Establishment, division, separation, merger, and consolidation of subordinate religious organizations.- Registration of associations, religious orders, monasteries, and other collective religious organizations.- Establishment, management, dissolution of training schools, and organization of training classes for individuals specializing in religious activities.- Ordination, conferment of titles, appointment, election, selection, dismissal, and removal of religious dignitaries.- Transfer of operational locations for religious dignitaries and clergy.- Registration of annual religious activity programs of grassroots religious organizations.- Annual meetings and congresses of religious organizations and subordinate religious organizations.- Publication activities of religious publications and documents.- Inspection of the implementation of legal regulations regarding the responsibilities of state administrative agencies in carrying out religious activities.- Fulfillment of other tasks as assigned by the Minister of Home Affairs to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs of Vietnam; and by the Director of the Department of Home Affairs to the Inspectorate of the Department of Home Affairs.
