Skills Requirements to be Achieved after Graduating from College in Mechanical Assembly

Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering fields will take effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulations on minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the field of mechanical assembly, issued in conjunction with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that learners must achieve after graduating from college in the field of mechanical assembly are specified as follows:

- Read and analyze detailed drawings, assembly drawings of transmission and motion transformation mechanisms, safety mechanisms, jigs, lifting equipment, machine assemblies or mechanical equipment, machine or mechanical equipment assemblies, and technical requirements;

- Develop assembly procedures for transmission and motion transformation mechanisms, safety mechanisms, jigs, lifting equipment, machine assemblies or mechanical equipment, machine or mechanical equipment assemblies;

- Establish preservation, maintenance, and usage procedures for types of tools, assembly equipment, and support assembly tools (regular and periodic maintenance);

- Select correctly and use the types of tools, assembly equipment, and support assembly tools;

- Perform basic cold working, assemble transmission and motion transformation mechanisms, safety mechanisms, jigs, lifting equipment;

- Diagnose and repair common faults in types of tools, assembly equipment, and support assembly tools;

- Organize maintenance and servicing of types of tools, assembly equipment, and support assembly tools (regular and periodic maintenance) as required;

- Operate proficiently the types of tools, vehicles, and equipment that support assembly;

- Inspect and evaluate the assembly quality of transmission and motion transformation mechanisms, safety mechanisms, jigs, lifting equipment, machine assemblies or mechanical equipment, machine, or mechanical equipment assemblies;

- Organize the implementation of safety measures, industrial hygiene ensuring occupational safety and the 5S process, handle emergency situations, and perform first aid on the injured;

- Utilize basic information technology as per regulations; exploit, process, and apply information technology in the professional work of the industry and profession;

- Use basic foreign languages, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework; apply foreign languages in the professional work of the industry and profession.
