Requirements for Reserve Levels and Riverbed Gravel Exploration Network

Circular 01/2016/TT-BTNMT was issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on January 13, 2016, detailing specific requirements for the storage level and the exploration network of riverbed gravel.

Accordingly, Circular 01 specifically lists the requirements for reserve levels and riverbed gravel exploration networks, including:

- Riverbed sand, gravel mines, and soil, rock used as filling materials explored up to reserve level 122.

- Network of exploration works:

- The maximum line exploration network is 400m, and works on the line a maximum of 200m;- For mines with an area smaller than 1ha and a distribution length not exceeding 500m, there must be 01 work controlling the thickness of the mineral body or controlling up to the prospective exploration height level in the center of the exploration area;- Geological mapping and description at each outcrop point must describe geological characteristics, composition, structure, and determine the boundary of the mineral body as a basis to determine the border thickness and average thickness of the mineral body within the exploration area.
