- Project on the model transformation of hi-tech parks, industrial parks, and export processing zones towards the development of high technology, creativity, the digital economy, the green economy, and the circular economy.

- Project to develop Thu Duc City into a new growth pole, an innovative, highly interactive city, the nucleus of Ho Chi Minh City's socio-economic promotion.

- The scheme continues to rearrange, innovate, equitize, improve quality and efficiency, and promote the role of state-owned enterprises in performing key tasks for the City.

- Project on the effective management and use of natural resources, especially land, in order to create resources for investment and development.

- Making planning of Ho Chi Minh City to 2030, vision to 2050.

- Planning to develop underground space, green space, river space, and cultural space, especially in the city center area, new urban areas, around Metro stations according to the model of Transit Oriented Development (TOD).

- Plan to relocate industrial facilities as planned out of the inner city, effectively use the land fund after relocation to prioritize the construction of public works and social welfare.

- Plan to relocate universities as planned out of the inner city, using post-relocation facilities to prioritize the development of scientific research and international cooperation among higher education institutions.

- The scheme to promote regional linkages, and the key role and locomotive of the City in development linkages in order to realize strategic breakthroughs in the development of transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, improve the quality of human resources, create motivation, and create new development space for the Southeast region, the Mekong Delta, and other regions and localities throughout the country.

- Project on Increasing investment in logistics infrastructure development, increasing loading and unloading capacity and seaport warehouses, taking the lead in supply chains; forming a regional logistics service supply center.

- The project of building an advanced and modern health system, applying techniques and high technology, and developing a number of fields to approach the world technology level, towards the goal of being an ASEAN regional healthcare center.

- The project on building the city into an international center for education and training to attract students from the region and the world.

- The report proposing the necessary mechanisms to handle investment projects and work that have been backlogged for many years due to problems in mechanisms and procedures.

- Developing a draft resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

- Conducting a preliminary review of the implementation of the urban government model according to Resolution 131/2020/QH14 dated November 16, 2020 of the National Assembly to organize urban government in Ho Chi Minh City.
