The Ministry of Health stipulates that the department of rehabilitation (PHCN) or the rehabilitation center and other departments in the hospital must closely cooperate in professional activities. To be specific: stipulated in Article 21 of Circular 46/2013/TT-BYT as follows:

- The Department of Rehabilitation (PHCN) or the Rehabilitation Center is responsible for:- Delegating rehabilitation specialists, doctors, and technicians to clinical departments to assess the rehabilitation needs of patients when notified by clinical departments;- Coordinating with clinical departments to plan, guide, and support nurses and technicians in clinical departments to perform rehabilitation for patients in clinical departments;- Receiving and rehabilitating patients transferred from other departments.- Clinical departments are responsible for:- Notifying the Rehabilitation Department (PHCN) of the rehabilitation needs of patients in the department;- Coordinating and facilitating rehabilitation specialists, doctors, and technicians to examine, guide, and support the nurses and technicians in the clinical departments to perform rehabilitation for patients.- Performing rehabilitation for patients in clinical departments with the assistance of rehabilitation specialists, doctors, and technicians.- Depending on professional requirements, clinical doctors and rehabilitation specialists must organize consultations according to regulations.
For other departments and rooms in the hospital, the professional cooperation with the Department of Rehabilitation (PHCN) or the Rehabilitation Center is carried out according to the general regulations of the hospital.
