Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Circular 02/2007/TT-BTTTT providing guidance on the implementation of regulations on tariff management for postal and telecommunications services.
Process for issuing service fees for management services in the form of quotation in Vietnam (Illustrative image)
Circular 02/2007/TT-BTTTT provides guidance on the procedure for issuing rates for services under the quotable management list in Vietnam. Therefore, when adjusting service rates under the quotable list, businesses must develop rate plans; self-issue a decision on service rates and submit the quotation to the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam as prescribed. To be specific:
- The quotation dossier includes:
- The quotation dossier should be sent to the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam no later than 03 working days after the enterprise's decision on service rates is signed and issued.
- In case it is discovered that the enterprise's quotation dossier does not comply with the current regulations on rate management, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam will issue a document requesting the enterprise to suspend the application of the new rates for review and adjustment to ensure compliance.
Additionally, this Circular stipulates that before the 10th day of the first month of each quarter, enterprises must report the rates of postal and telecommunications services provided by the enterprise to the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Finance according to the sample form in Appendix I.
