On February 10, 2019, Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) promulgating regulations on the minimum amount of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in mechanical engineering fields will take effect.

According to the Regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the field of mechanical assembly issued under Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating in the field of mechanical assembly at the college level, learners must satisfy the competencies required for the following job positions in the industry:
- Assist with work in assembly;- Assembling transmission and motion conversion structures;- Assembling safety mechanisms;- Assembling jigs;- Assembling lifting and transferring equipment;- Assembling and commissioning primary machine or mechanical equipment;- Assembling and commissioning machine complexes or mechanical equipment;- Maintenance and upkeep of assembly tools and means;- Organizing and managing assembly work.
Furthermore, the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the mechanical assembly field at the college level can be further developed to higher levels. Graduates possess the ability for self-study and self-update on scientific and technological advancements within the field to enhance their skills or pursue higher education within the same group of industries or the same field of study.
