Is Household Separation Allowed?

Regarding the procedure for resolving the separation of the household registration book by the local police, you can refer to Section 3 Chapter 3 of Circular 80/2011/TT-BCA- Processing time: Within seven working days from the date of receiving a complete dossier, the competent authority must return the result of resolving the separation of the household registration book; if the separation is not resolved, they must respond in writing and clearly state the reason.
