In order to identify and manage commercial Pangasius catfish farming ponds and ensure the quality of Pangasius catfish, the provincial aquaculture management authority shall issue a unique identification code for each farming pond.

1. The code consists of 11 digits and follows the structure AA-BB-CCCC-DDD, where:

- AA: Province or centrally governed city code applied in aquaculture management (Appendix I issued together with Decree 55/2017/ND-CP);- BB: Code for aquaculture object (for Tra fish is 01);- CCCC: Sequence number of the farm, ranging from 0001 to 9999;- DDD: Sequence number of the Tra fish pond, numbered from 001 to 999.

2. The owner of the farm must register the identification code for the pond for the first time or re-register when there is a change in the farm owner or a change in the area of the pond.
