Guidelines for the Specifications of Ordered Publications

The Ministry of Information and Communications has recently issued Circular 07/2018/TT-BTTTT guiding orders for publications using the state budget.

According to the provisions of Circular 07, publication orders shall be carried out as follows:

For black and white printed books:

- Book dimensions: 14.5cm x 20.5cm;- Book printing paper: 60 - 70g/m^2^, whiteness of 84 - 90 ISO;- Cover paper: 4-color Couche, 230 - 250g/m^2^, gloss laminated;- Hardcover Carton laminated with Couche paper, 200 - 230g/m^2^, 4-color gloss laminated.

For multi-colored printed books:

- Book dimensions: 16cm x 24cm;- Book printing paper: 4-color Couche Matt, 100 - 120g/m^2^;- Cover paper: 4-color Couche, 250 - 300g/m^2^, gloss laminated;- Hardcover Carton laminated with Couche paper, 200 - 230g/m^2^, 4-color gloss laminated.

For photo books:

- Book dimensions: 23cm x 25cm;- Book printing paper: 4-color Couche Matt, 150g/m^2^;- Hardcover Carton laminated with Couche paper, 200 - 230g/m^2^, 4-color gloss laminated.

For maps:

- Shall be carried out according to the specialized legal regulations on maps.
