Guidelines for Evaluating Political Education Course at College Level in Vietnam

Recently, Circular 24/2018/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs of Vietnam regarding the curriculum of the Political Education subject, which is a part of the general subjects in the intermediate and college-level training programs.

According to Circular 24, the assessment of learners' academic results in Vietnam is conducted following Circular 09/2017/TT-BLDTBXH. Additionally, when implementing a subject, the training institution must meet the following conditions:

- Classrooms, computers, projectors, and other teaching equipment;

- Subject programs, textbooks, reference materials, lesson plans, films, and related materials.

Also according to Circular 24, the exemption and retention of academic results for subjects in Vietnam are carried out as follows:

- Follow Circular 09/2017/TT-BLDTBXH.

- For learners who already have a intermediate degree, the school principal will consider and decide to exempt them from studying the content of subjects previously covered in the secondary education program.
