Circular 44/2018/TT-BLDTBXH provides general regulations on the Office Informatics industry at the secondary and college levels as follows:

1. College Level

Office Informatics at the college level involves the tasks of installing, operating, maintaining computer software, and application software to serve office operations for administrative officers and staff at administrative agencies, units, as well as companies, factories, enterprises, meeting the requirements of level 5 in the Vietnamese national qualification framework.

Office Informatics professionals perform the following main tasks:

- Install, operate, and maintain computer software;- Use office application software to meet office operation requirements;- Manage office tasks;- Design digital products and publications for advertising;- Manage and operate network systems;- Exploit and exchange information on the network;- Maintain computer systems;- Create and store data information of agencies and enterprises through information technology applications;- Manage the content of e-news websites of agencies and enterprises.

Office Informatics professionals must have adequate health to work in environments requiring high precision and readiness to ensure the maintenance of device operations; possess effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Note: The minimum required knowledge volume is 2,260 hours (equivalent to 90 credits).

2. Secondary Level

Office Informatics at the secondary level involves tasks of installing, operating, maintaining computer software, and application software to serve office operations for administrative officers and staff at administrative agencies, units, as well as companies, factories, enterprises, meeting the requirements of level 4 in the Vietnamese national qualification framework.

Office Informatics professionals perform the following main tasks:

- Install, operate, and maintain computer software;- Use office application software to meet office operation requirements;- Exploit and exchange information on the network;- Maintain computer systems;- Create and store data information of agencies and enterprises through information technology applications;- Manage the content of e-news websites of agencies and enterprises.

Office Informatics professionals must have adequate health to work in environments requiring high precision and readiness to ensure the maintenance of device operations; possess effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Note: The minimum required knowledge volume is 1,400 hours (equivalent to 58 credits).
