Circular 34: Regulations on Reporting Policies of Vietnam Electricity Group

The reporting regime of Vietnam Electricity Group is stipulated in Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT on the formulation and implementation of electricity supply plans when the national electrical system lacks power sources, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on September 07, 2011.

To be specific, in Article 20** Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT** regulations on policies report of Vietnam Electricity Group are specified as follows:

1. Weekly Report

Before 16:00 on Friday of week W, the Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for reporting to the Electricity Regulatory Authority on the status of electricity supply and load reduction in the national electricity system from Friday of week W-1 to Thursday of week W, including the following contents:

- Electricity output, available capacity of the system and the electricity output, capacity distribution for the electricity corporations within the week;

- Peak capacity, daily electricity output, and total electricity output performed of the entire system and each electricity corporation within the week.

The weekly report of the Vietnam Electricity Group is carried out in accordance with the weekly report template about the status of electricity supply and load reduction as prescribed in Appendix 3 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT.

2. Monthly Report

Before the 10th of every month, the Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for reporting to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Electricity Regulatory Authority on the status of electricity supply of the previous month, including the following contents:

- Electricity output, available capacity of the system, and the electricity output, capacity distribution for the electricity corporations each week within the month;- Peak capacity, weekly electricity output, and total electricity output performed of the system and by each electricity corporation within the month;- Estimated electricity output, peak capacity reduced by each electricity corporation and of the whole system each week within the month;- Summary and estimation of total reduced electricity output, peak capacity for electrical loads of the entire system within the month;- Analyze and clarify the reasons in case the actual electricity output of the entire system differs from the approved monthly and annual operation plan by 5% or more.

The monthly report of the Vietnam Electricity Group is carried out according to the monthly report template about the status of electricity supply and load reduction as prescribed in Appendix 3 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT.
