On April 21, 2016, the Minister of Finance promulgated Circular 34/2017/TT-BTC stipulating the rates, collection policies, remittance, management, and use of fees for the appraisal of permits for surveying and mapping activities.

Circular stipulating the rates, collection policies, submission, management, and use of appraisal fees for granting surveying and mapping activity licenses. Applicable to: fee payers; fee-collecting organizations; and other organizations and individuals related to the collection, submission, management, and use of appraisal fees for granting surveying and mapping activity licenses.

Organizations requesting the issuance of surveying and mapping activity licenses listed in the regulations of Decree 45/2015/ND-CP dated May 6, 2015, of the Government of Vietnam on surveying and mapping activities must pay appraisal fees as stipulated in this Circular.

Fee-collecting organizations include: Department of Survey, Mapping, and Geographic Information of Vietnam (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of provinces and centrally-run cities.

Circular 34/2017/TT-BTC takes effect from June 8, 2017.
