The application of professional standards in judicial expertise in scientific and technological activities in Vietnam is regulated as follows:

- Judicial expertise in scientific and technological activities is conducted based on national standards, national technical regulations, local technical regulations in the field of science and technology, and related legal documents concerning the content required for expertise.

Regarding the cost of expertise and policies for the remuneration of judicial expertise in scientific and technological activities:

- The cost of judicial expertise in scientific and technological activities is implemented according to the provisions of Ordinance No. 02/2012/UBTVQH13 dated March 28, 2012, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the cost of expertise, valuation; the cost for witnesses, interpreters in proceedings; detailed implementing documents, and other related legal regulations.

- The remuneration regime for judicial expertise in scientific and technological activities is implemented according to Decision No. 01/2014/QD-TTg dated January 1, 2014, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam regulating policies for the remuneration of judicial expertise.
