03 Technical Criteria for Administrative Boundary Database

On October 23, 2017, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Circular 46/2017/TT-BTNMT regulating the construction of the administrative boundary database.

According to the regulations stipulated in Circular 46, the administrative boundary database must meet the following technical criteria:

- The structure and content model of the administrative boundary database as outlined in Appendix 2 issued along with Circular 46.- Quality assessment of the administrative boundary database as prescribed in Appendix 3 issued along with Circular 46.- Administrative boundary metadata as set forth in Appendix 4 issued along with Circular 46.

- The administrative boundary database is developed from the administrative boundary records of various levels that have been appraised by the competent authority and approved for storage and use.- The process for building the administrative boundary database is specified in Appendix 1 issued along with Circular 46.
