Recently, the Minister of Transport signed to issue Circular 17/2014/TT-BGTVT stipulating standards for positions working at Road Vehicle Weight Inspection Stations.
To be specific, for the position of Head of the Road Weight Control Station, it is necessary to meet 03 groups of standards listed in Circular 17/2014/TT-BGTVT as follows:
- Leadership, management, and organizational capabilities for station operations.- Professional qualifications and skills:
- Holding a university degree or higher in one of the following fields: Transport, Construction, Architecture, Mechanical, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Law;- Meeting the professional standards of the specialist rank or higher;- Computer proficiency: Achieving level B or higher;- Foreign language proficiency: Achieving level B or higher in one of the five languages: English, French, Russian, German, Chinese or Lao, Cambodian (for Stations located in border provinces adjacent to the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Kingdom of Cambodia);- Mastering the standards, technical regulations, processes, procedures, and professional tasks related to vehicle weight control, violation handling, station operation, and maintenance; proficiently using the equipment at the station according to state regulations.
- Work experience: Having at least 05 years of work experience in the Transport industry (at the specialist rank or higher).
