Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued the Decree No. 166/2016/NĐ-CP on electronic transactions in social, health and unemployment insurance.
Specifically, according to Article 25 of the Decree No. 166/2016/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, participants in electronic transactions in social insurance prepare and submit electronic social insurance applications by adopting any of the following 02 methods:
- Log in to an electronic transaction account in social insurance, prepare an electronic social insurance application online at the SSAV’s portal and send the complete application to the SSAV’s portal.
- Prepare an electronic social insurance application by using supporting tools and software which must meet data format standards stipulated by the SSAV; then log in to the electronic transaction account in social insurance to send the complete electronic social insurance application to the SSAV’s portal.
Within 02 hours as of the receipt of the electronic social insurance application, the SSAV shall send a notification confirming such receipt to the email of the participant in electronic transactions in social insurance.
