Which Gas Storage Facilities and Distribution Stations Must Have Fire Prevention and Fighting Systems?
Based on Section 1.1.2, Section 1 of the National Technical Regulation QCVN 01:2019/BCA promulgated along with Circular 52/2019/TT-BCA, specifying the subjects required to have fire prevention and firefighting systems for gas include:
- Storage warehouses for preserving gas placed underground or in tunnels, on hills or mountains;
- Petroleum and petroleum products warehouses with a pressure of less than 0.1013 Mpa (760 mm of mercury column) designed according to the standard TCVN 5307:2009 "Petroleum and petroleum products warehouses – Design requirements";
- Tanks for liquefied gas and equipment designed, operated according to special requirements for fire and explosion prevention belonging to production technology chains in processing plants refining, petrochemical;
- Gas refilling stations for road motor vehicles;
- Gas supply stations designed and built according to the standard “Central gas supply systems in residential houses”;
- Warehouses containing, preserving liquefied gas with a saturated vapor pressure at temperature 223.15K (-50°C) greater than 0.1013 Mpa (760 mm of mercury column).
