When Should Construction on the Project Commence?

According to Clause 1, Article 89 of the Construction Law 2014, before commencing the construction of a project, the investor must obtain a construction permit issued by the competent state agency as prescribed by this Law, except for cases exempted from the construction permit requirement.

Clause 10, Article 90 of the Construction Law 2014 stipulates as follows:

The commencement period of the project must not exceed 12 months from the date of issuance of the construction permit.

Thus, within a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of issuance of the construction permit, you must proceed with the commencement of the project. Therefore, commencing the project in February 2021 is in accordance with legal regulations.
