When must the construction supervisor conduct the inspection upon receiving a request for acceptance?
According to Article 21 of Decree 06/2021/ND-CP regarding the acceptance of construction work as follows:
- Based on the testing and inspection plan for construction works and the actual construction progress on site, the person directly supervising the construction of the project and the person directly in charge of the contractor's technical execution shall conduct the acceptance of construction work and be responsible for the quality assessment results of the executed and accepted construction work; the acceptance result shall be confirmed in a minute.
- The construction supervisor must base on the construction drawing design documents, approved technical instructions, applicable technical regulations and standards, and the results of material and equipment quality inspections and tests conducted during the construction process related to the acceptance subject to check the construction works required to be accepted.
- The construction supervisor must carry out the acceptance of construction work within no more than 24 hours from the receipt of the contractor's proposal for acceptance of the construction work. In case of disagreement with the acceptance, reasons must be notified in writing to the construction contractor.

Thus, based on the above regulation, if a proposal for acceptance of construction work has been received from the construction contractor, the construction supervisor must complete the acceptance within no more than 24 hours.
Therefore, if the supervisor has urgent work, a written notice must be provided to explain the reason to the construction contractor.
