According to the provisions of Clause 8, Article 2 of Decree 02/2003/ND-CP on market development and management: (This Clause is supplemented by Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree 114/2009/ND-CP)

Community markets are classified as Type 3 markets (managed by communes or wards) that trade common and essential goods serving the daily needs of the local people.

Type 3 markets are those with fewer than 200 business stalls or markets that have not been invested in for solid or semi-solid construction.

Primarily serve the trading needs of the residents in the commune, ward, and surrounding areas.

The above is the content of the regulations on community markets. To understand this issue more clearly, you should refer to Decree 02/2003/ND-CP.
