Verification, Evaluation, and Approval of the Package Estimate
Article 18 of Decree 10/2021/ND-CP provides regulations on the examination, appraisal, and approval of package cost estimates as follows:
The examination and appraisal of package cost estimates specified in Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 17 of this Decree shall be carried out in the same manner as the construction cost estimates stipulated in Article 13 of this Decree.
The investor shall approve the package cost estimates specified in Clauses 2, 3, and 4 of Article 17 of this Decree to replace the package prices in the contractor selection plan in accordance with the provisions of the law on bidding.
The investor shall self-appraise and approve the package cost estimates specified at Point d, Clause 2, Article 16 of this Decree. In cases of hiring foreign consultants, the authority for appraisal and approval of the foreign consultant package cost estimates shall follow the provisions of Clause 4, Article 32 of this Decree.
Depending on the characteristics and nature of the package, adjustments to the cost items in the package cost estimates specified in Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 17 of this Decree shall be made following regulations for adjusting construction cost estimates as set forth in Article 15 of this Decree.
