Regulations on the Purpose in the Plan for Anti-Terrorism Work Implementation in 2022

Based on Subsection 1 of Section I of the Plan for Anti-Terrorism Work Implementation in 2022, issued together with Decision 87/QD-BXD in 2022, the purpose is specified as follows:

Effectively implement the Anti-Terrorism Law and regulations on the prevention and combat of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction to enhance the responsiveness of units within the Sector when terrorism occurs. Especially focus on anti-terrorism efforts during the design, construction of key projects, detect and neutralize the plots of hostile forces and international terrorist organizations, and expatriate reactionary forces planting explosives during the production, transportation, construction, and renovation of works; prevent and combat the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Regulations on Requirements in the Plan for Anti-Terrorism Work Implementation in 2022

According to Subsection 2 of Section I of the Plan for Anti-Terrorism Work Implementation in 2022, issued together with Decision 87/QD-BXD in 2022, the requirements are as follows:

- Thoroughly and promptly absorb legal documents on anti-terrorism, the prevention and combat of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and Directive No. 25/2007/CT-TTg dated November 15, 2007, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on anti-terrorism in the new situation;

- Implement and organize the execution of directives from the National Steering Committee for Anti-Terrorism; follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense on anti-terrorism work, prevention, and combat of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction with the principle and motto of prevention first;

- Closely coordinate with the National Steering Committee for Anti-Terrorism, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense to implement the plan content, promptly adjust the plan to suit reality, and complete the assigned tasks well.
